FTSE to open at 7,337 (+31 pts)
Stocks on Wall Street moved lower yesterday as traders grew cautious that the Fed would unveil another big rate hike this evening.
Asian stocks have mirrored the caution on Wall Street with the Hang Seng trading more than -1% lower on the day.
European gas prices have surged 30% in two days after Russia attempts to weaponise energy through deepened supply cuts.

This resistance level was swiftly rejected – indicating that the market may remain range bound in the short-term.
