FTSE to open at 7,550 (-9 pts)

Stocks on Wall Street climbed higher yesterday as traders looking ahead to the start of earnings season next week.

Overnight in Asia, the MSCI Asia-Pacific ex Japan Index rose to a five-week high, despite Hong Kong being closed for the Ching Ming Festival.

While in other news, the US and Europe are said to be planning new sanctions to punish Moscow over civilian killings in Ukraine.
