Morning Report – Friday 3rd September
FTSE to open at 7,166 (+2 pts)
The S&P 500 hit another record high yesterday as unemployment data came in ahead of expectations with US Initial Jobless of 340K versus 345K expected.
This afternoon we have US non-farm payrolls numbers hitting our screens and Regency clients will receive our Non-Farm Payrolls preview prior to the release.

This week’s choppy indecision continued yesterday as the FTSE ending the day back where it started.
Overnight, price action has seen the futures push slightly higher, but it remains to be seen whether the index can hold onto these gains as we head into this afternoon’s US non-farm payrolls.
